Default KA Problem

Gem just ring me, she's pulled into the hospital car park (where she works) and she smelt a burning rubber smell. the car had also been squealing all the way to work apparently.

When she said squealing i thought wheel bearing, but this wouldn't explain the burning rubber would it?

Break pad stuck on?

any suggestions? im by no way experienced at fixing cars, but think i may have to give this one a go!

Well she just come out and i been to look at it, the front drivers side wheel is boiling hot. so im thinking either break is stuck on, or the bearing is knackered.

Any suggestions on anything else it could be? how do i test each one?

thanks all.

Anyone in swansea fancy helping me lol

I had a similar problem with my orion. One of the front springs had sheared off and was digging into the tyre causing it to squeal and burn at speed. But that car was a POS.
