Mum’s nursing home has sent mail describing the preparations for allowing visiting of some description to resume, unfortunately wife and I are both on the ‘endangered species’ list there will be no visiting for us for the foreseeable future, thank goodness for video calling.

Sorry to hear that Martin I guess doing noses to the glass isn't wise you might catch your death of cold.

In the lockdown my good lady has developed some strange tastes in TV. The repair show I can understand it's not far from Antiques Road Show but that late night show on Quest fixing and flogging classic old cars? While I am reverting to distant memories of late teenage first 'love' (lust) binge watching 'Normal People' downstairs keeping our old dog company.

So you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Been watching the Aussie police programmes, much better than the news in the mornings, they seem to make a hell of a lot of money in a day from fines and impound fees, just a change from endless reruns of other stuff Imay have already seen. Wife likes the Repair Show too, some talented workers there.
Just been out to the chemist-too far to walk- and passed one of the local Tescos, unleaded 99.9p a litre, so 99 super 6 or 8p dearer, cheap fuel and nowhere to go, Arrggghhhh.

You are allowed to trot off now. I fancy a short road trip into the peaks on the bike but alas would be a bit selfish atm

yeah, jack off is not an issue Rog

your dog has had a good innings.. i think our best was 15 he was a mutt.. met a big, ugly Viszla at the park today.. he bullied Jess but he could not catch her, like Micky owen, low cog and good accell

bumper is back on, made hard work of it but the dude arrived with the new pin spanner from nitron while i was doing it so that was staright into action. Far superior to the old ring shite, just a punch with a handle now

Decided that Italy in early August was not going to happen, even probably not sensible in any case so since the balance was due very soon cancelled it today, I'd rather lose a few quid than be presented with a credit note that could be of no use if companies fold, might have been the wrong way about it but I'd rather sacrifice a few quid than be worrying about hundreds.
Now to continue fighting for a refund instead of the credit note for March's holiday that didn't happen, the way things are going I may just contact the bank to start a charge back for the money since I seem to have booked it through are a bunch of comedians judging by the furore going on about them. Feck all is simple now.

Vizsla - pronounced sort of like a worn S2000 gearbox.

sz is pronounced like a regular British 's' in Hungarian.

i get weinmaraner wrong too

nice dogs both though there is a huge one of the latter i bump into. He’d knock me over but mr placid, just looks at my pup dancing under his nose

back brakes are needing rebuild on the Panzer.. very odd brake line fitting but simple calipers so ordered a couple of seal and piston kits as local place seem to be locked down still. Think the government has scared everyone.

Dutty

Dirt transferred to me

so i must raise the S2 so i can get off the drive i guess..

Checking credit card statement today and was surprised to see £25 credited from Admiral insurance, had hoped we would get it but I did think that there might have been an email to say it was being done, nice to get it though.
