All in, caliper refurb cost £38 in parts, £15 in paint and jurist, probably spent just under £40 on fluid chasing air that was not there

So sub £100 and the BMW tech said 'they look powder coated' haha. And they work!
Try Holzkopf!

Not seen that one but do like a bit of WD although less like the fat salesman
Maybe so now but original air date April 2011 and judging by the ice on fields for the test drive car was bought mid 2010 so this was about ten years ago. Times change. M suffix is 1974 (memorably I owned a brown Volvo 245 reg no GRO546T, which was a '79 plate, from '81 to expiry in 2001 or so) so the car was about 36 years old, not 40 as stated. Salesman a sales dick but rarely wrong about anything - or at least you don't get to see any of his **** ups

This was series 8 of WD. The episodes are listed here on wiki. Looking forward to Corrado and S2000 episode reruns having owned a few

I was always unconvinced.. it had previously had engine work and the VTEC solenoid was blocked with gasket gunk? Fishy...

Also EPS iirc and diamond cut on the wheels... it wagged like a dog, woofed like a dog and smelt like a dog to me

Are you saying they doctored it to look worse/so they could look good? Or just the car had been really fked with before them?

if the engine builder was so sketchy as to clog the vtec solenoid with gasket gunk i’m unsure it would have lasted more than 5 minutes, we have all seen posts of failed engine rebuilds on f20c

Doctored? Wouldnt put owt past brewer

MOT on the dirt(y) bike.. one tyre on wrong way round, fixed (fitted off bike so hey ho)

The NA one in for a service, oil & filter, pollen filter, brake fluid, diff fluid, valves.. I did 400 miles or something in the last year ffs.. then I have an abba stand to pull the swing arm off the yam and powder coat as it's rusty (on a 2017 bike)

I have to move the bikes to work all round the car haha
