you can have a go in my M5 Mark

(when Jamie buys me a pint)

you won't want an M3 then

Its my peasant sized garage though Pete

I would really like an M5 if I could put it somewhere. Bar paying off the residents society for the use of a visitor space its not happening. Either that or a large payrise so I can move from the ghetto

Jamie's Porsche is rather nice, I got a passenger ride a few weeks back.

If I may use the gaddafi patented reply-by-numbers technique:

1. You don't post here very often, so you don't know the background here at all
My point is that here is a thread talking about a BMW, and because someone you are having some sort of cyber-space argument with over in Off-Topic - which I am sure many of us don't care about or want to know about - you have chosen to burst into this thread with a personal attack on the person who dares to post in any other thread than your personal internet feud thread.

I think that is out of order, don't you agree?

2. And please don't try to admonish me on here, in Sir Walter Raleigh style
Afraid you'll have to explain to me what on earth that means, then maybe I can search back through your postings and see if you've made any Walter Raleigh style admonitions to anyone else.

3. Or we will need to address this face to face, next time we meet

I'd prefer not to have to do that
This is another aspect of your S2k postings that I find hard to believe, in view of the fact that you have always been a perfectly reasonably and pleasant bloke when I have met you "in the real world" - all the nasty undertones and veiled threats you like to make to people on this board.

I just don't get it, and regardless of what anyone might post on an internet site, that's all it is, writing on the internet, and it is incredible to me that you should then feel the need to have a showdown about it.

The polite and adult way to make your final point would be something like:

"Or maybe we can have a chat about this next time we meet", rather than your menacing language.

It really does all hark back to the school playground.

If you are coming to the cinema on 15th, happy to discuss this with you then if you feel there is something to discuss.

Which is 'this' thread? I am intrigued.

There's so many to look through.

Mark

The M5 is 70cm longer and 30cm wider than the S. It surprised me at the time.

Have a listen to this...
