By dispatched you mean 'knitted' don't you.
Oh and while we are having a mutual appreciation moment... (you can lick my balls for me too if you like).....you look like.... a kind of hippy, not in a Jimmi Hendrix way... in a sort of Cat Stevens way... with henna.
I think CSLs are significantly quicker than the standard m3. Its not just more grip from the cup tyres but more power and 150kgs less weight. Also a stock CSL on pistonheads was put on a rolling road a few months ago and made over 370bhp whereas normal M3s only made around 300-315bhp. How quick a CSL is in a straight line is a lot dependent on whether the RTABs are okay and the clutch is not slurring.

I've heard this, isn't it just that 'over-use' is considered bad?
Anyway, why on earth would you want launch control on a road car? You couldn't even use it on track days.

The difference between the two is the speed at which the throttle is depressed with the car held in in Launch Mode i.e. gear selector held forward.
To activate Burnout Mode the throttle is depressed rapidly and the result when the lever is released is a rear tyre bonfire. Looks good but there ain't much forward motion!
Launch Control is selected by depressing the throttle progressively and the result when the lever is released is a very effective launch of the line.
There is also no limit to the number of launches that can be performed. You'll just wear your clutch out sooner the more you do
