It's not BMW per se that has the worst drivers, in my scientific study, I realised it's particularly Black German Saloons, so BMW 3 and 5, Merc C, Cl, CLS, LSC WTF, E, ELO, and Audi 3,4.2,5 and 6. The colour is important.

Not entirely unsurprisingly the luxury models, the BMW 7, the Audi A8 and the Merc S class don't see to suffer that problem.
Interesting theory; Black RRS & S2000s tend to be driven by f ucking lunatics too. Albeit lunatics in slightly different ways.

Fly might be the Q7; it seems whatever the colour, it'd be better-driven if you simply took the handbrake off at the top of a hill.

I'll do some research...

I'm not counting Audi Q5 and Q7. Because you're clearly not human if you think buying one of those is a good idea. Audi now include a safety feature when you buy one new, a tattoo appointment and they tattoo see you next tuesday in reverse so everytime they look in the mirror (which is a lot if you're a Q owner) you're reminded of what you are.

Strangely I don't mind X5, X6, M Class and Cayenne drivers....

I love them, tbh. But then, I'd happily and shamelessly park one next to my 5.0 X6 on my fantasy driveway.

I had one sitting on my arse through a 40 stretch on the A1 last week. I waited until the NSL signs, put it in 2nd and booted it. He gave me about 5 car lengths before "making his point".

Good point well made. Eek.

im not sure how i should read this but i find overtaking people (BM, Audi any kind of fastish hatch)in the S used to get them all bent out of shape and in most cases lead to some ridiculous maneuver to get back in front, with the BM they in the most part take it
now im not sure if they see the car in a perceived pecking order and accept being behind as the natural state or see the badge think the drivers a cock and don't push it, if only they new its both

I rather like the M6 and like the new 5 series, well the last 5 series, I think its a shape that grows on you! I can't comment on driving the M6 but our 6 series is pretty fast and probably faster than the S. The only trouble I find is that on twisty roads you are very aware of the size of the car and I find it a bit difficult to judge where the car finishes, unlike the S. The gearbox on ours is an auto but very quick and clever-it even changes down on downhills to use the engine braking. I would have liked the M6 but its a bit too hard core for everyday use.

Looks wise I think this is OK,

Performance wise though it feels slow after this,

R8 V10 Spyder! *drools*

The ONLY good Audi, well except maybe the S8 and RS6 Estate. Other than that they are all dull.

Dad has a 635d. Its useless. Jaguar XJ is much better.
