Is it just me, or does this not feel a lot longer than the 24 hours described in the thread title ... ?

Just jealous, I suppose ...

There are a few of the older S1 Elise's out there with the K20A (I think it's that number) engine in them, it does certainly boost the bhp / tonne figure however it compromises the handling apparently.
No more than fitting the Toyota engine did with the S2......

There's a S1 Honda conversion on PH for about

80kg wow, that's Wampa weight!
That's under 13 stone, pretty average weight I'd guess.

I spotted a K20A engined Elise on PH a few weeks back (not sure if its the same one Mark) and I thought it looked a lot of car for the money too.

my DVLA docs to put the new plate on the car through this morning.

Is it me or is that whole government department getting more efficient?

I guess the scamera fees can always be paying for more resources.

Kelk is right I preferred the Exige-S - it seemed more serious, and more planted on the road.

Test drive of a 111R went well today! (Thanks Bell & Colvill!)

Wow! 6k+ revs is even more of an eye opener than in the S!

Apparently a K-Series Elise is a bit rubbish in comparison? (originally wanted a 2003/4 - MGTF-engined - 160bhp 111S).

Well, all I have to do now is find about

I felt that too, Ben!

It's as if Vauxhall have tried to dress it up as a 1.8 Rectum.
