So i picked up a new car yesterday, a Volvo S50D.

I was currently doing 500 miles a week in my S2000 so got this so make my S the weekend car it was intended to be.

Having never driven a Volvo before, I have to say its very nice, comfatable, spacious and im getting on average 52MPG which is a mixture of town stop start and A road driving. I got 62MPG on the way home from collecting it.

Anyone else got one? Any issues? I will pop a picture up later.

 

No idea where you got an S50 from because they don't exist! Best have another look on the writing on the back


I'm looking to buy a V50 at the moment, done a testdrive in one of those driv-E ones and it's pokey enough to get around and because they're 70mpg they're tax free!

 

Oh yes, ha shows how much interest i took in it. Its a V50D SE. It does go quiet well, think its around 150bhp. I went for a 6 speed manual, full leather, heated seats, climate control, sun roof and alloys.

 

I had a V70 once from work, it had the most impressive ICE system I've ever heard in a standard car, Dynaudio I think? Blew my socks off!
