The Next Logical Step?
I can't take an ebay add for a £16k car seriously when the seller has put the images upside down... really?!
M6 is mega, but eyes wide open required.
For me, I think I would be looking at something with the merc V8, I can't get enough of that sound!
Or something with a warranty that will be just as fun and much lower risk.
or rent a golf and REVO it
Interestingly, why are you considering the M6 and not the the M3, that V8 is a masterpiece and I would gamble at more reliable than the 10? just curious, it's your money!

For example, I haven't been giving every other Ford Focus driver I've seen thumbs up since I've been driving it
I find myself staring at this a lot today, a part of me just thinks it would be asking for trouble though!

If you went in thinking anything else you'd be nuts

A TiV is fine, just have a £10k slush fund or a (very good) warranty
.
In fact any car is fine if you can afford to buy and then run/fix.. The latter is the unknown with these cars but i know a bloke with a good budget who found a v10 M5 "punishing" and his budget stretched to a new Cayman S (north of £50k i guess) instead.
You might, of course, get lucky

Do it JC! Lovely car.
I can understand the v10 itch, but the brother in law has a C6 Audi S6 and yes it's FAF, but I'd much rather be driving my S2. If it was my money I'd save my pennies and get an Evora. Porkies are very nice, but I don't like most of them. The 370z is quite quick, but it sounds awful and is obese - I prefer the 350, but it does look quite dated now and probably not what you're looking for. Lease a 235i - great little car. My last suggestion is again perhaps not to you're taste -but I bloody love them - unmolested RX7. Good luck finding one! I know.........wankel.
And more in demand than a ropey old Jag

I must admit I cannot comprehend why anyone would want a Golf but then are also people who buy new build estate houses, think Tag make good watches and that Ikea make great furniture and believe a Pandora bracelet is classy.
Each to their own. If the op wants anonymous he will get it with a Golf. Hopefully he doesn't fit the rest of the profile. He doesn't sound like a peasant.

Nice though.
Seems quite highly priced for its age. Is it?
