I really want one.

How can you be Honda nut and not want one.

Who cares about outright straight line speed. It'll do 170 and surely thats enough?

A nice 3.2 six speeder and then I can start my modding adventure on that

Personally I won't be sinking any of my hard earned into a car that hasn't done it's depreciating already for the forseeable future.

I was telling Rich and ge2 the other night about my 'Fun for 5 Grand' challenge - I bought the Scooby for 5 large, I'm now on the lookout for a fun/track/race car for the same amount. Then probably a tow car/4x4.

Big, big depreciations to come on anything with a high CO2 and a bit of a thirst.

MB, not forgetting that the design is the best part of 15 years old now. I dont think they are THAT rapid. Boxster S quick?

Dated as hell inside now....

I agree with Nick G, its what it stands for, that is why you would buy one!

And they are still holding their value, even good 1993'ers still go for around 17k! Insane!

I've had a pax lap around the ring in one. It's VERY low. handling a bit more benign than the S2000. Feels quicker than the headlines suggest.

But at the end of the day it just doesn't have enough power to compete. I may be missing the point, but i am not, and never have been a Honda fanboy. I judge cars on their merit and IMHO it's overpriced. The backend has never looked right and the interior is very dated.

Whack an S/C on it and I might change my mind.

The back end looks perfect; the slight stretch necessary for the VTEC heads did unbalance the car aesthetically, but it had the benefit of improving straight-line stability to an impeccable standard!

Actually, a 'luxury Elise' description is probably apt too.

If you cannot accept paying 40 large for a timeless design, a 3.0 for 20 drives better (in some ways; they feel REALLY light) and can only really hit 10 as a scrapper.

It will NEVER look embarrassing in the way those Ripspeed Saloons will when they are 10 large!

To me, it sounds like the ultimate in budget motoring. The only reason I don't have one is that it would suit, say, Purbeck's roads far better than it does Hertfordshire's tracks, where the Enduro-style S2000 is more at home.

NSX is nice but the parts and the maintenance cost of NSX is quite scary!!! Especially when you start modding the car.

However if i have the money i will definitely have a NSX type R.........

Comptech do a kit like the S2000's.

I'd love one. I'm not sure what would be above it on the list for

Jaozzy, I notice you have an 07 Boxter. How come you didn't go for an NSX then?

Would people REALLY fork out 40k for a newish one given the competitors? And I mean really. Think about it. I'm not sure as i've not tried one, but interested to see what people think.
I had a serious look but too much money for the age of car I wanted and not much choice, I prefer the targa which limits choice even more. Maybe one day though!

Really liked the Tuscan S, in a big-S2000 sort of way. A real character, if a little unhinged (in the middle of the frame, somewhere).

Other than that, there's nothing for the money to touch it.

That's not to knock the Cayman; it's just that thing that Hondas have, like that thing Alfas have, like the thing Ferraris have, etc...

That blue NSX looks similar to the one that Jen Button had, maybe its his car/ ex-car?

I drove an auto nsx once years ago and I just could not believe how well it pulled (a honda with a bit of torque, whats that all about???) I dont think I could justify a
