Having tried a Brera at launch I would have much preferred the GT - if only because of the usable back seat, but I went for the S instead.

3.2 V6 Alfa engines are wonderful sounding things. They don't look too bad either.

See you at Auto Italia show in a few weeks then?
The first time I saw one was at Goodwood when the Brera was being launched. Preferred the GT then as well. It's one of the last models to use the Busso engine, rather than the GM unit.

Definitely going to try and make Auto Italia. Planning on going to Duxford (http://duxford.iwm.org.uk/server/show/conEvent.3612) as well, however flying to Cyprus on the same day so will decide on the day.

Well done. You should keep this as quite rare.

What is the power / torque /sprint time?
You're right about the orange peel. Fade isn't too bad. It probably needs some professional TLC at some point as under strong light a few scratches are apparent.

In terms of specs, 0-60 is 6.7, 236 bhp, 300Nm - http://www.fastestlaps.com/cars/alfa..._gt_32_v6.html

However it feels faster and may well have been chipped earlier in it's life. The previous owner compared performance with friends GTAs and the GT was equal, if not faster.

They're undeniably beautiful to look at, and at the same time make the right noises about their owners. Nice one ...

Nice car Chris

I'll bet you don't get anywhere near 30mpg out of it though

Still, I'm sure the experience will make up for it and if you're not doing big miles, so what

I shall have to post up details of my latest beater but it's nowhere near as glam as the Alfa

Thanks - with the mileage that I'm doing at the moment (mostly working from home), I can justify filling up with Optimax I'll be happy with 22 mpg for regular use.... although getting quite a bit less during the honeymoon phase of ownership.
