Default Power mod chips +25 Bhp for

Has anyone heard of these and what do people think? - called Sinspeed and apparently it "piggy backs" the ECU and tells it that the engine is sucking in air at a different temperature and subsequently increase power.

I reckon there must be at least another 20whp there.

Save your money. It's likely just a simple reostat.
If you think you need more power - I suggest you buy a faster car.

The S is pretty much tricked out stock. A little fettering here and there and get you the odd horse. But unless you go forced injection... no real gains.

Its just a frig to get it to chuck a bit more fuel in.
then its going to run richer than it should.
Total waste of time and fuel, or is that fool?

Makes the car run leaner .. you make less HP with more fuel.

Running the car lean makes the engine produce more power (and run hotter, and eventually nuke itself).

Before AFM/MAP sensors, they used to sell "holes" to put in your airlines to make the car run leaner with a carb.

More is less, less is more

Car's run slightly rich to keep combustion temps down, at the sacrifice of power / efficiency.
