Default Preferred Head Unit suppliers

What are peoples preffered supplier of head units and and speakers?

Went to Halfords to look at the Alpine HU with iPod full speed, the two 12 year olds serving could barely speak due to their hangovers, when they did they told me the whole head unit display was broke, but 'do ya want one anyway' - no thanks!

Had no intention of actually buying from Halfords just want to have a play on it.

I would avoid 'car audio center' at all costs. I ordered a Sony head unit from them and they sent me a JVC Then tried to say 'oh we didnt have that one in stock so sent you an alternative' When i returned it for a refund they tried to charge me the postage costs either way. Took a while to get the money back too.

I would recomend Caraudiodirect too as I've previously purchased from them. Quick delivery and good price.

i've bought from car audio direct and never had any problems with them. good prices too.

another to try is lowcostcaraudio.co.uk

they've sometimes got some really good discounts on. you've just got to hope it's on the head unit you want.
