The driver of the prices is everything moving to hybrid
Mental. A CRV can cost £50k for a daily now.
A non hybrid simple ****er is what I want

Agree on all new hondas alas.. that CTR at £50k is nuts, an e at £38k is equally silly

Or Aberdeen, Bath, Birmingham, Bristol, Bradford, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Oxford, Newcastle & Gateshead, Portsmouth, Sheffield, Southampton, York.
They all have different criteria and will get stricter.
More coming unless you vote Tory at your council elections...

Every 1 mile in Wigan, there are cameras on a random lamp-post light. All for the Greater Manchester clean air plan. Trouble is for them, it's on hold. And a disastrous decision to even have it in the first place (the cameras).
the cost of running those camera's right across the borough (they are live allegedly, doing what, I don't know but all have a green led on the back that's lit).. this must be costing the tax payer.
Why not tax higher at source, if the local handyman is running around in, say a 15 year old transit. Tax him heavily. Eventually he'll scrap it and buy a clean diesel or elecy. Instead, it's £10 a day. Taxis £7.50 , buses £60 a day etc etc.
all great but, I do think taxing at source would save us millions. You wonder if they are using these cameras as covert mobile phone use whilst driving spy cameras

Last time I drove a CRV I thought the 1.5 was a nasty unrefined noisy lump ! The Quasqui we purchased with the Renault 1.2 turbo was far more refined

Well all of those places are ****ed then but still not voting Tory.. rishi is a ****ing joke imo and the local Tory councillors here are absolute wankers

I have no interest in driving around cities, of that list I've been to York and London recently and didn't use a car whilst in York and didn't drive to London

I'll use my bike to commute and if they put cams in Nottm I'll just make the plate unreadable

Khan and his big brother cameras must be destroyed by the people who live there imo otherwise accept you are slaves to a mental little hitler

He might turn up at a Palestine demo and have an accident if we were lucky.

Refined it will not be. According to Jason after not many months it will make Sam Ryder's seed hall look like a desert. In any case this will have not been new in a showroom for many years so if that Qashqai can be had low mileage <10 years old for approx £10k it sounds ideal. How about

That is like the one she has Rog

My main gripe is despite its lofty travel the ride is bloody awful, the seats are awful and the engine is utterly anaemic

If I'm gonna drive it it needs a bit of grunt, not an eco map with a huge flat spot and more torques please

Hers, all the suspension is fubar, it's crude

advise list..

Nearside Front Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement Rear Bush Worn/Splitting (5.3.4 (a) (i))Offside Front Outer Track rod end ball joint has slight play (2.1.3 (b) (i))
Front Play in steering rack inner joint(s)

It drives like a tractor so I'd love avoid another

Hmmm. My son-in-law's CRV feels a bit tank like tbh but it does ride well. 08 plate bought £7k on 35k miles five years ago.

I guess this would be the equivalent to that Qashqai I found but there are not so many around so further away, West Drayton.
65 plate £11k manual petrol on 52k miles. No sunroof or satnav but got lumbar support

This a better colour but 10 years old also asking £11K but auto and suspiciously low miles 17k. Still got lumbar support (standard option?).
Not sure I like the name of the seller though or that they mask out the reg plates - something to hide?

I think you need to take her and test drive a few nice examples closer to home. And have a serious conversation about colour
