Default Recommendations for a DAB & Bluetooth headunit

As per above I am looking for recommendations for a DAB & Bluetooth head unit to replace the OEM one in my Yaris.

Got a budget of around £150 and ideally want something that is going to allow me to make hands free calls in addition to having DAB.

Have found units such as these but does anyone have any experiences with DAB units?

Have a look here too:

Headsets beestings and everything you will need

I've got an old Sony in mine; I use a Garmin Sat nav for the rare occasions I take a call in the S2000.

You'll need to JB-weld a body washer in the twig hole, to accept a regular twig base. There's power to the existing twig, so instal's easy.

You'll need a converter lead /Modifry box if you want to use the dash controls.

Nick, its for a Yaris, not an S2000

Martin, most of these units are much of a muchness these days, and Pioneer make great kit in general. I'd only go for the more expensive one if you need a few additional Android features.

I bought a Pioneer (for the S) and a kenwood for the Qashqai. The Pioneer was easier to setup, the Kenwood has hissy fits on BT.

Both use little mics you mount. The one in the S is hard work as the car is a bit noisy, not sure about the Nissan

Oh yeah - wait for coffee to kick in before reading. Last Yaris I drove has a Toyota-sized double-DIN like that in the 86.

I got a Kenwood 120mm-wide Toyota-width double DIN for the 86 from Australia. Bit more than your budget, admittedly...

If you do a search, there are a few to choose from.

Going to go for this Head unit as Halfrauds are doing an extra 10% off DAB head units until 10th February so it brings this one in at £134 which isn't bad at all considering it's got far more features that the other one in my initial post and it actually has Bluetooth where as the other one hasn't.

I had an old Pioneer bluetooth unit iin my Fabia which was in it when I bought it & did the job really well.

Just looking forward to getting rid of the OEM unit and replacing it with something decent as I did when I first bought the S
