Winning is winning? Well if thats the case my Cup was faster, as we met up and I beat you badly.

For the 1 millionth + 1 time a standard cup could have beaten me!! I could only crawl past a saxo ffs. The car was running like a pile or horsesh*t

the biker was putting himself in harms way by not using his mirrors..

most of the bad ring accidents are bike related.. often a car touching a bike.. and I guess most of this is due to miss-communication between the riders/drivers.

a good biker would see you in his mirrors (if he had any.. a lot remove them for some reason )..
Mirrors aren't in the standard options list on my TZ

As for who was endangering who I would say that it is the responsibility of a car driver no matter if its Sabine or not to extend a 'safety coutesy' to things like bikes which the M5 would sqiush.

It is the person BEHIND who has the responsibility to make a safe move the person infront has every right to hold whatever line he/she chooses.

As for Sabine being elevated to Godlike status I find it amusing. I am pretty sure there are a number of similarly decent track specialists around the globe who dont get the press they deserve (but then they aren't a woman are they )

Right just for old times sake (this is the last time lol)

14.2@101 with a 2.4 60 ft pre-maxogen filter which made a massive difference .......................
Just so that we have all the facts was this with the optinal LED washers switched on or off

Renaults always get faster with age, I am sure Hondas would too if you removed several nuts and bolts each week

what you say has some general truth..

but what we are talking about in this specific video is the nurburgring..

there are "rules" there.. and one of those rules is to keep to the right and indicate to let faster cars past on the left.. and there is no right to stay on a racing line causing a queue.. If you don't keep to these standards.. then you are reported to the marshalls and asked not to participate in further driving.

if you notice.. this is an old circuit, the track is very narrow.. so passing is only feasible with the consent of the person infront.. so if they are ignorant to the person behind, it creates a problem..

For Sabine.. she is a quick driver.. but her specific skill is speed on the nurburgring.. which is regarded as a unique challenge in itself.. nobody cares if somebody is a specialist for silverstone.. since F1 drivers are running there...they are the benchmark.

but if you put somebody like DC in an M5.. I would bet Sabine would be quicker over a ring lap than him.

It would take him a while to shoehorn his chin inside the car

As for which one would be quicker I would say that DC has a tad of experience...

1996 Championship: 7th for McLaren
Nurburgring 3rd

1997 Championship: 3rd
A1 ring 2nd

1998 Championship: 3rd
Nurburgring 3rd

2000 Championship: 3rd
Nurburgring 3rd

2001 Championship: 2nd
Nurburgring 3rd

I know the ring is different in F1 but take into account that his square jaw-ness has won Monaco and Spa which are hadly roomy circuits with 7ft wide cars and I think Sabine would be watching him on the horzon.

It would be fun to watch though, probably more fun than a modern F1 race.

You argument is fatally flawed in that the Ring that you cite him as being very good at is the ever-so-dull GP circuit, which is NOTHING like the Nordschliefe.

Sabine has well over 15,000 laps of the full size track under her feminine belt, has WON the 24 Ring race and her everyday job is to drive fast around the bloody thing!

I would say that makes her more qualified than just about ANYONE else on the planet in that respect - oh, and she's as fit as a butchers dog.

They ran out of space Search SN and you'll find plenty of similar arguments going over the same old ground over there. I could also post up page after page of MSN conversations which, unsuprisingly, goes over the same ground again

At least now that Neil is getting an S2000 we'll have less to argue about for a while.
