Thanks for your interest you two.

I prepared a post last time AE asked but it coincided with a Bad Gateway and was lost. Couldn't be arsed to compose it again.

Am going to take some pics this week after an injection of cash. Mr Q said that the bonnet looked cool when rubbed down to bright metal when he was there last.

Thank you Dan. Teaching your grandmother to suck eggs? I am pretty rubbish but not that rubbish.

Am I verbose? A bit I suppose but I like to spell things out in the way that I like things spelt out to me, sans irony, sarcasm and all the other stuff that confuses me.

Saz and I are off to see and tog the TR tomorrow.

We will try to get good pics.

Saz loves Karmann Ghias. (I particularly like them rat look.) She used to be a fixture at Bug Jam.

Shame that you've sold your Fulvias, I love them, perfect dog cars.

I too am sad for you re the Fulvias gad

I have some great Karmann Ghia memories. Here is a pic of one with the rat look that I took recently at Players.

MQ did Mr. Q really say that it looked "cool"

I'm looking forward to seeing the TR tomorrow for the first time since it went away

Sorry Dan. I thought that you and AE were having a little dig at me until it was explained to me.

The suggestiveness of the name of Jamie Oliver's mobile pub was pointed out to me last night and I have only just fallen in. My poor literal brain.

Not at all, just trying to be helpful.

I've typed out long replies on here before only to have the site crash just as I'd pressed reply.

Lovely roof down drive to Greenwood today.

The TR is in the paint shop.

Nicely primed bonnet and door.

Those early sporting Datsuns are the only Japanese cars that did anything for me before the S. Is it a 250Z? This one is being prepared for the Monte Carlo Rally.

Saz getting help with her Instagrams. A quite effective marketing tool I think?

Lovely classic Fezza.

Working on a TVR Griffith 500

The firm is finding times testing but they have lots of cars in to work on. They have lost a couple of big clients, one because he has got married. and another because his new employers won’t allow him to partake in anything as dangerous as motorsport. They have some good coals to Newcastle ideas and we are rubbing shoulders with aristos and their Masers.

The TR could be with us by Christmas.
