Another vote for the Minilites. They looks sporty and have decent British sports car heritage ...

looking great.

i'd say keep it on the steel wheels for now. just fit decent tyres. minilites are a little too common as you see them on most TRs it seems.

The car is really starting to come together now

I love the look of the Minilites, but I also appreciate the focus of the project at the start was for originallity. I'm woth Bozwell on this one, keep the steel wheels, you can always get a set of new wheels at a later date should Mr Q convert you to his way of thinking I really hope you can bring it to a few meets in the summer so we can see it in the metal.

keep it original, and let's face it "The Boz" knows his stuff on this subject.

Also worth remembering that with some good modern tyres, grip will be much improved.

Yep , tyres will make a huge differance , It would originally been on cross ply tyres , just maybe later in its first stint of driving maybe on radials, but new modern tyres the way to go.

Another vote for the original wheels from me. But then it has to be said that I don't like minilites at all, I think they can make truly magnificent iconic british sports cars look absolutely dreadful! Don't do it MQ, please put those original wheels back on pitted or not!

Another vote for the original steel wheels. Minilites don't look at all right on this car.
