There's one the other side of Taunton that flashes the wrong way.

If you're going quick enough you can get it to go off after you've passed it. Quite entertaning if there's traffic coming the other way, but probably a little mean.

Cheers,

James.

I drove towards a normal yellow GATSO scamera (i.e. in the opposite direction to the way they work) and it flashed twice - nobody else around at all.

I know there are digital types which work in both directions but I thought these were different looking and down south.
I also think I remember hearing someone saying that they can flash the wrong way, but you never get a ticket.......

Anyone else come across this???

This happened to me last Sunday and I was meaning to post and ask about it, so thanks.

1 week later nothing through the post anyway so fingers crossed. But if something does come, well to be honest it was probably about time...

How long do I have to wait before I know I'm clear?

The thing that pisses me off at the moment is motorbikes in SPECS zones. They can just carry on at whatever speed they want and I need to sit at 70.

14 days plus a couple of days for postal time.

14 days from the offence then you're clear-ish.

The problem is that some NIPs don't get to the house so you can then be done for failing to provide information, apparently the postal service doesn't lose NIPs and they don't have to prove it wasn't lost... or something.

Anyway 14 days beyond that stop worrying.

From a Talevan or a copper with a handheld camera?

Did you get done there and then or wait for the postal lottery?

BB - Why not just take your front plate off, wear some heavily tinted sunglasses, remove any identifying features from the front of your car and blast through the specs at 120
