PROBABLY a scam in the making. Report to the police ASAP, in case the car gets cloned.

However:-
1) Block it in at night if possible.
2) If not a regular driver, find a novel (and ideally VISIBLE...don't want them breaking windows and steering racks for no good reason...) way of immobilising the car...
3) Invest in some security lights out the front maybe?!? And I don't know about you but I always forget to put the golf clubs away when I get home...they're forever sitting by the front door!

You could always run a 240V lead to the car
I remember reading about the case of a Sierra Cosworth owner who fitted his car with the same kit as an electric fence that farmers use - logical as it's usually run off a 12V car battery.

Some security guard dude in a carpark thought the car looked suss as there was a cable hanging down from the car. So, of course, he tried a door handle to see if the car was locked, and he got a good shock alright.

Apparently the guy had fitted wiring at the back of each door handle, and the cable hanging down was his earth.

I'm sure it went to court.

It's a good story anyway.

Plod weren't the least bit interested but i've made sure they took down the registration and got a report number from them - just in case.

You'll get a call tomorrow, asking if they can close the report!

Sounds like he'll use the pics for a scam.

Wouldn't have thought he'd take snaps of a car he was about to nick.
