One thing I notice with my 18s apart from the softer ride it is harder to kerb them. Next time I will look for 10mm up from the stock 245/265 (if they do them in PSSs) but as I only do 10,000 miles in 2 years it will be a while now. One thing with your driving back and forth Wilfried you get the chance to kerb the wheels all round parking on both sides so to speak.
And at least with the tunnel you don't get held up as you would have back in the day
Decided to do some trackdays again so treated myself to a 380mm AP racing big brake kit.
And am now using the car as a daily so got some winter wheels and tyres, I really don't like the look of the standard 220M wheels but that makes it easier if I kerb them!
They're Pirrelli SottoZero tyres, feel vague as anything at speed but they're very grippy which is nice

That brake kit must have been big money. Those two parts are expensive
I've done 30.000 miles in it, more than I did in my s2000 in 5yrs and I still enjoy driving it every day. Even doing the boring commute in it is nice. It just does everything so well and is comfortable enough doing it.
Other than replacing an underfloor guard panel because it had a great big hole in it I haven't had to do anything to it, pretty reliable!
I have no idea what I would want to replace it with, so hopefully I don't have to for a while.
