The majority of the UK public are complete bellends so why be surprised that most people drive like bellends? There'll never be law enforcement on ignorant (but not immediately dangerous) driving because it doesn't make any money. It will only get worse.

I do think it's about time we allowed undertaking on the UK motorways. This would make better use of the available lanes so they got more use, and help to keep traffic flowing better. After all, we all just want to get to our destinations with the least amount of fuss.

Better to just enforce moving back to the slow lanes. In NL there's pretty hefty fines for not doing so, and it works.

Does it? You wouldn't know it from being in the cities...!

We also have the safest roads in Europe, but again with the mongs who drive on UK roads you wouldn't think that either.

Lies, damned lies and statistics!

As others have said your behaviour is boorish.

BTW I'm fascinated to know which country you come from.

Assuming it's not the UK you should remember the adage - when in Rome do as the Romans do.

Just because they behave like chavs over there doesn't mean that you have to behave like one here.

So when foreigners drive in the UK they should forget about all lane discipline, completely ignore all other drivers around you and drive around like an intolerant clueless retard?

The standard of driving is appalling here in the UK, and this topic is just making me laugh. People get all worked up about doing the right thing and everbody knows best, where as when you look outside there's nobody that knows how to drive properly and everbody gets in eachothers way...

We've done umpteen thousand's of miles in Germany, and lane discipline is superb and makes driving on the autobahn a pleasure instead of the chore it is on are own motorways, and why does no body seem to indicate on roundabouts any more, you have to try and guess where every one's going these days

Mine is not dangerous at all, you can turn right on the roundabout and you can go around as many time as you wish and get off at any junction you like when you indicate left I am not doing anything illegal here and also not really jumping the queue as I have my right to do so. People is just silly how they stick to the rules and don't use their brain when you see 1 mile long queue and they will actually queue up and wait for it to turn left.
Whilst that is not dangerous, it's completely retarded. You might be alright, but you are significantly contributing to the problem.

It's why the queue in the left hand lane is so big

If drivers physically cannot turn left, because of people going round the roundabout, then of course the traffic will build up!!!

You may see it as a 'right', but that is just to justify the stupidity of your actions Dixon

If drivers stuck to the correct lane, then the queue would never get as big.

We can't police this idiotic behaviour, or change the layout of the roads...we just have to put up with the morons on the roads

There is a roundabout like this near me, and it grips my sh1t to see the tools in the RH lane, 98% of whom are turning left after a quick trip round.
Ok I am sorry if I offended you so much from my disgusting anti social behaviour, I shouldn't even allow to drive on the road.

I come from a country that you have to fight for your lane and use your brain to drive on the road as if you queue up, you could be sitting there for a few hours and no one will let you move.

Quite.

And whilst we unfortunately accept that this is also Europe and the 51st State of the USA, we are also English.

And in England we queue.

It's what makes us unique.

And why at one point we used to rule the whole world.

It's my favourite country to drive in - Autobahnen; no mercy in the left lane!

I've not experienced much decent driving in France / Holland / Belgium / Germany?!

They all just pull out whenever they want, and drive an inch off your bumper in flowing traffic.

I'd say UK motorway standards are far better. Bar the middle lane c@#ts.
