I really want to get a go in a W12 Phaeton or A8. Just one of those must have things.

I can only imagine what they must sound like with a good quality, well-built exhausts installed. Kind of the law with a luxobarge as mentioned previously.

Interested to find out how the OP getting on with the Phaeton?

Been looking at these myself recently, and seem very good value for money IMO.

Even my best mate, who's a petrolhead also (owns a Noble M12), but we always tend to disagree on car stuff, likes them and agrees with me.

A Bentley for 4k essentially! So would be looking at early ones.

Would ideally like the 3l diesel, but there's a 5l V10 diesel for sales atm for just over £4k or something!

It'd have to be the 3l to make running it every day just about feasible.

Just seems like a car for any occasion... You could turn up somewhere, and people think you're loaded Seems like a very nice place to be inside too... I think the rarity and the discreetness is what I'm attracted to.

Or am I missing a trick with these?

4 month in zero problems, very quiet car to drive.

I have had it remapped and lowered slightly.

I'd only consider the facelift much nicer to look at, better updated engine, looks similar to the New cars vw had just brought out and kit better inside. I paid 10k for mine, not seen one of the road and I do a lot of miles.

Cheers

At £4k i'd expect it to be ready for breaking tbh

There's loads of old pricey barge for that kind of money but finding a good un is the trick or being prepared to write it off

This hasa few milesu under its belt

It's merely a Sindelfinger Taxi - whaddya expect other than intergalactic mileage?

I think the only way of owning that sort of thing is to buy a peaked cap - or get a friend to drive you round.
