Just a few off the top of my head. But my first choice would have to be the Mazda or the Audi (if you can love the looks).

That Spider is the reason I disliked MGBs so much! Bit unfair I now realise, as they're very different cars. Never got to drive one actually, sadly.

There used to be a FIAT dealer in Hatfield with a new coupe (about six years old new!) in his showroom. Never had the money.

Only ever drove the boggo 131 and it was a real retrograde step (it was, like the Marina, a stopgap rush-job tinbox after the FWD 129 was cancelled) after the refined 124. I guess the homo special version evened things up a bit.
