I found a set of 23 and 24 mm spanners for like $8 at one of the auto stores. Its perfect for getting to the fill bolt.

I had a hell of a time finding a 23mm. I ended up buying a Craftsmen set of four sockets 22-25 (i think)for about $30. It sucks to pay that much or one damn socket but I have it now and the others as well... good chance I will have them for life and I'm sure I will use them before I die.

Good idea with the ebay/grinder thing, I was lucky and the socket I got worked, but just.
you should rent your tools out man. I have a friend who rent his fender roller tools out.

You might want to put the oil bottle in some hot water for a while before you try to pump it. If you pump it cold, you need some big ass muscles.

Since you asked what people are using, I use Lubrication Engineers 1605. I'm fortunate to have a dealer that stocks it close by.

What do ass muscles have to do with pumping the fluid Lee?

I live in Atlanta now( north side, lawrenceville). I am a tech at Jim Ellis Porsche, if you need any help give me a shout.

FYI remove the differential fill plug first, nothing sucks like draining the diff and finding the last jackass that was in there before you cross threaded the fill plug.
