I love the compactness of the unit...it's very easy to operate, and record...also, updating the firmware is beyond simple...so you can easily always have a current unit !
The video quality is excellent...especially for objects that are still...but degrades some on fast moving objects (ie...what we do )...but not terribly so. The PDR records in MPEG-2 format...so it is immediately playable by most DVD software (eg WinDVD, Power DVD, etc)...and it looks good even on full screen (computer monitor). I haven't had time to trying burning a DVD, to see how it will look on a TV, yet.
Audio is a challenge...so far. The onboard mic is WAY to sensitive...even when its level is adjusted all the way down...and the end result is that most of the audio 'clips'. Now...this is with the top down (is there any other way to drive the S??? ), and the PDR sitting on the passenger seat. I tried the powered electret mic that came with my BulletCam...but it was EVEN MORE sensitive. SO...I will be searching for an external mic of low sensitivity, to use for driving purposes.
Overall...I am thrilled with my unit ...well done Randy. Actually...one of my reservations...no aiming LCD...turns out to be (pretty much) a non-issue. If you just 'eyeball' align the BulletCam with the midline of the car, then you are in business.
Here are a few pics of the unit...
For size comparison...there are 4 stacked CDs...which equals the height...as you can see the PDR's footprint is smaller than a CD case.
Can you fit the unit in the net storage area in the passager side below the radio? It would keep it in place if it'll fit. That's also where I put my powered mic and it records the sound very well.

It would fit there quite easily...the only challenge would be reaching the 'start recording' button...especially if you are moving. If you have a passenger, then no problems.
