Default Clutch

I took the car out yesterday to moorseville drag race and pulled a 9.5 on the first pass and 9.7 on the second pass. first time on the track with the S and after the first two passes, my clutch started grinding going into second. So now its time for a performance clutch. Anyone has any suggestions for a performance clutch. Im not going to strictly drag it so no 4 or 6 puck clutches. Some where around the Stage 2 type of deal. Lets hear it.

^^ Go with that one. Very good system for a daily driven S.

i don't want the flywheel. are there any alignment tool and bearing? I really prefer something else beside ACT. I hear it tears up your transmission.

I would go with the Exedy OEM replacement. I plan on getting that with a Fidanza flywheel when I do but if you don't want a flywheel, I'd definitely go with the Exedy. They're cheaper than ACT too.

Science of speed has a very nice one as well. Similar feeling to oem but with alot more clampimg force. The ScienceofSpeed Sport Clutch for Honda S2000 is rated at 300 lb/ft at the flywheel (approximately 255 lb/ft wheel torque or 400+ wheel horsepower) -

Yeah thats what my brother has on his civic and it grabs pretty nice but RLZ said that if I would get any clutch it would be the compos which i dont' understand what type of clutch that is. I've been looking into the clutch master stage 2 kevlar. What do you think???

Keep in mind, just because it works on a Civic or Integra doesn't mean it will work on an S2000.
