Sounds like everyone had a great time!! Can someone verify whether or not the place was sold out. I want to get a handle on the situation in case I get charged for a room. Thanks.
Another great McDragon, under our belts...what a great time !!!!
I truly enjoyed seeing all of the wonderful attendees, and great drivers !
I decided to take an alternate route home and went down 28-S to Franklin...there is a nice newly paved stretch that is a pretty good road. Then I took US64 into Highlands...veeeery curvy road, but rain and some fog made for very careful driving (read slower). Lots of nice scenery, along this stretch of 64...if you ever have extra time to drive that way. There's also a lot of curvy road on 64, coming down from Highlands, and heading towards Hendersonville (until you get down from the mountains).
Here are some scenery pics:
Looking Glass Falls...on 276, through the Pisgah National Forest
Overlook on 28, just (a little) after getting off of the Smokey Mtn Pkwy

Great pics Tidal. Now, where's the video??
The video was screwed up. No sound at all until the last day. When we finally got the sound to work, the whole Chase Cam stopped working. I have tons of video with no sound and about a half hour with sound and video.

Most of my xD card real estate was taken up by Quicktime movie footage of some of the 28 and Dragon runs...unfortunatlely all of those are upside down...since that was the only way I could mount my camera. However, on my laptop I have some useable footage.
