We finaly made it home after a 10 hour journey. Part of what took so long was our little stop at Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro where we saw gorgeous Ferraris, Porsches (including a Carera GT, a true work of art), and the Black Onyx Aston Martin DBL soft top (voted most beautiful car of 2006). STUNNINGLY beautiful!
"Pics?", you might be asking. I forgot my camera, remember.
Oh well, it was a super weekend with the greatest "car club" on the Dragon.
Btw, did anyone get a pic of Kalan and Bryan playing strip chess?
Sheila and I are safely home. Since the weather didn't allow for more dragon time, we stopped at the Biltmore House and saw some of the new rooms that have been opened.
Thanks to everyone that joined us for McDragon...one of the best yet. We'll post again later, but now to bed.
And MyBad, you know the strip chess was supposed to stay at the Dragon! It was one thing to mention Kalan and Bryan in the quarterfinals but just don't bring up the championship match!
Dropped off Bryan and left Knoxville around 2:45 EST and arrived here at 11:00 CST. The weather was AWFUL! Heavy rain and wind about 95% of the way. I finally pulled over 20 miles south of Indianapolis and waited an hour for some of it to pass. I have nothing put praise for my new Hankook RS2s. They were fantastic in the rain!
Only one scare that came during a brief interlude from the rain. It was misty, foggy, had Norah Jones in the CD, stepped on the gas to make up some time and started reminiscing about the great weekend. I look up in my mirror only to find Mr. Police Man following me while I'm doing 92 in a 65! Thinking its all over at this point I just turn on my signal to change lanes, waiting for him to do the same and hit his lights, but he decides to drive right on by! I cannot believe how lucky I was.
So the lesson from this boys and girls is on a misty, foggy drive, speeding down the highway thinking of the great weekend, keep Norah Jones out of the CD and play Metallica to keep your mind on the road!
Other than that this has been one of the best weekends! We had a great, great time, and it was completely worth the drive down.
Pictures coming later, need to wind down and give my animals a big hug!
Now, if I can only figure out where I last left my brassiere?

Wow...you made great time getting home! Glad to hear you made it safe and sound, and that Mr. Law was too preoccupied to bother you.
Ron and I had a GREAT time, and were so happy to have everyone there. The weather was perfect, all the way up until Monday morning. I don't think we could have asked for better.
The highlight of my weekend? Night Dragon run with SC_Highlander and Ron!
I'll get some pics up later; the Dragon gave me a nasty cold, so more sleep is in order at this time. Thanks again everyone!
This is really Jag Lady, not mybad. It really was a wonderful time. Thanks for all the laughter, fun, and excitement! There is nothing like being with great people like all of you.
Glad you are all home safely, with out incident.
Rest up, have a great week and I look forward to seeing you all again soon!
Oh and by the way, while unpacking this morning I found something in our baggage that does not belong to either of us. I think it is a chess piece.
Let mybad know if anyone is missing something
