how bad are the cops...
You know, I was just thinking if we could find any statistics showing accidents involving speed in NC vs. VA.
With more patrols in VA, you would expect their accident rates (involving speed) to be significantly less than NC. I bet it's higher and I'm taking a guess that 95 has a longer stretch in NC than it does in VA.
I've owned an S2000 for nearly three years now and the only ticket (knocking on wood
) has been from a VA cop. He got me with radar doing 77 in a 65.
I was following a Civic coupe and he was about three car lengths in front of me. When I saw the cop come out of the median, I thought for sure that he would be stopping the Civic, but he stopped me.
I could'nt believe that I got stopped. Sure, I was speeding, but I hated the fact of getting a ticket. I quickly (well, actually, I waited for the last posible day) to pay the fine. Something like $110ish. I did my part to help improve that section of Virginia, BASTARDS!
