Lawyer up dude. Just start doing google searches for traffic lawyers in that county. You will also get about 500 letters in the mail from local lawyers from that area. Start calling them and telling each one what your ticket was and asking how confident they are that they can get it reduced/dropped. Go with whichever one feels like the "biggest" law firm and you feel the most confident with. They will appear in court for you then inform you of the outcome. They may ask that you be present in court as well, not sure with that level of a ticket.

Using the same method my recent ticket was reduced to improper equipment, and $300 down the drain. However, my ticket was for 79 in a 65, which isn't terrible. Good luck man.

 

ALWAYS hire a lawyer.

Never take a Prayer for Judgement.

Never just take "nine over" if you can avoid it.

 

In Wake county they will NOT reduce speeding tickets anything below 9 over, ask me how I know. Each county works differently so it depends.

The Prayer for Judgement is used only if you have several other infractions as a last chance.

Don't ever count on it to keep you out of a ticket. Hand held laser and instant on will nail you. I use my detector to keep me out of 9 over tickets.

 

I agree. In addition add pacing even when they are over 1/2 a mile away and can "estimate" your speed from that distance. Ask me how I know :-(
