Ah yes - UNCG - now those were the days
I burned a lot of gasoline on I-85 in those days...
I'm psyched about the possibilities of returning to my roots, for sure.

Greenville, SC always seems to have new people arriving, although I cannot speak for your professional area. Real estate prices are about at or slightly above the national average, but probably lower than CLT or RTP.
But . . . you would be 25 minutes from miles of roads almost as good as The Dragon, and only 2 1/2 hours from The Dragon itself. There are not too many LBP's around here, so you would be very welcome.

My sister and her family live there.
