Really I'm just waiting for Alex to make all the mistakes and pitfalls so I can learn from his experiences when doing mine, lol. Though they will be pretty much extreme opposites of each other... his purpose build race car to my hum-drum street car. For every yin there is a yang.

Depends on how much fun you want to have, I wouldn't launch it. Prob not long term solution. When it goes you'll be out a custom driveshaft bc you went t56-ap1/ap2 instead of t56- SS or 8.8(that's if you decide to upgrade)
I chose to upgrade- I went with a 2010 camaro SS diff and changed the ring and pinion out. They come with a 3.27 or 3.45, I put in a 3.91.(no overdrive) Import muscle makes a kit. I went with the aluminum drive shaft and 600hp axels

I officially got on the waiting list for the motec c127 display, it should be here hopefully in two weeks.
I can't wait to make composite insert for my S bezel.

Ya it is, it has all the necessary race logging and you can create your own display.

100% worth the $ for a race car. The c127 just came out, it's the same as the c125 but with a 7" screen.
Motec east HQ is in Mooresville, NC. I ordered through Steven at 42 Autosports in concord nc.

I have faith in my OEM diff. Its held up to the beating I've given it over the past four years. I launched the crap out of it every event while I was on street tires, and its held up to Hoosier autox abuse as well (though I chose not to launch when on the Hoosiers). And that was with 400+ WHP on my supercharged setup. I think as long as I power it responsibly I can make it survive.
Display looks great Alex. Someone makes a CF insert for our gauge cluster already. I've seen it somewhere on the innanets.
