New goodie for the car...
The week before the Gap, I ordered a Wheelskins "universal fit" red leather shift boot for Ashley's car. Apparently, it was for some other universe--tall and slim, whereas the Honda boot is fat and wide. We took it back to Auto Interiors and Tops (821-4425) in downtown Raleigh, and one of the guys there said he could make a vinyl boot for the same price as the Wheelskins boot. I wasn't big on a leather boot anyway, so I gave them a shot. I am very impressed with their workmanship. They unstitched the factory boot and used it as a template and the new boot is great--it looks like a Honda accessory. Judge for yourself:

Not too shabby... It looks like it was well done. I looked at the zoomed out view:

and it looks good in the car. Although, the fuzzy dice do not match... Maybe he can make up some nice leather dice.
