It's too early for me to tell if there are any performance improvements, but the S does seem to run a bit cooler, and I know the stock air box is getting air, more directly.

Perhaps, this is a possible 'less invasive' alternative to some of the air induction systems.

edit: does anyone make a cf lid for the stock airbox?
