Datsun B210 , showing your age a little buddy!

Here is my list (I agree with Raul this thread has taken a different turn...)

1986 Mazda B2000 shop truck (but painted it forrest green, put mag wheels on it and threw in a sound system!!)
1993 Mazda MX-6 4 cyl (no power, but great car!)
1999 Ford Explorer XLT (Even had the infamous Firestone Tires which I got replaced with Michelins for free)
2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport V6 with 4" lift and 33" tires (I miss that sometimes)
2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac (current)
2004 S2000 (toy)

List of cars we've owned, huh?

1980 Datsun 310 GX
1985 Honda Accord DX
1988 Honda CRX Si (fantastic car)
1995 Acura Integra GS-R (eventually became Honda Challenge H3 car)
1973 MGB (I hated that car)
1999 Chevrolet Suburban C2500 (tow vehicle 1.0)
2001 Ford Excursion Limited diesel (tow vehicle 2.0, excellent truck)
1987 BMW 325 (never should have sold it, great car)
1991 Honda CRX Si (too worn out by the time I got it)
2000 Audi S4 (very fast, beautiful, but expensive to keep running)
2004 Honda S2000 (best car I've ever owned)
1989 Honda CRX Si (sitting in the garage with a dead battery)
1999 Ford F250 XLT diesel (tow vehicle 3.0, excellent truck)

My hands down favorite is the S2000. The first CRX Si I had got me well and truly hooked on sports cars. My second favorite - honestly? The F250. It's fun to drive in its own way, with it being a 6-speed and all. It's an even better tow platform than the Excursion and Suburban were - the huge long wheelbase really pays off in the WV mountains. It was also a real basket case, cosmetically, when I bought it - I put a lot of work into making it look good again, so I think I "bonded" with it.

Next will be a daily driver that holds my interest more than the CRX does. I mostly bought the CRX because I saw it as an opportunity - it was very inexpensive, completely stock, and while it does badly need paint, it doesn't have any rust to repair.

1980 Datsun 280zx - yeah, it was RWD, 5 speed and I was 18. what do you expect - Wrecked
1989 Nissan Maxima (4 door sports car) - at least it's what they called it, but it was an automatic - sold after owned it for almost 14 years in 2004
1985 VW Jetta - 5 speed, this was sorted my toy car while I still have the Maxima - Invested too much but eventually donated that car to church.
2003 MINI Cooper S - This is my first "brand new car". I enjoyed it for exactly 2 years and sold it back to dealer.
2004 Nissan Titan - This one was out of necessity. 3 Hurricanes went thru Florida in '04 make me realized a truck is a good thing to have around. plus it hauls my motorcycle pretty well - Still the work horse at home.
2005 Honda S2000 - Toy and sort of my DD now.

Maybe the kid isn't a complete dumbass? Who knows. When I was 16 I had a a 64 1/2 mustang with a 302/5speed transplant and 4.10 gears that made about 300rwhp. That car weighed around the same as an S and had a far inferior suspension (and really crummy tires). Hell, the speedometer didn't even work, but somehow I managed not to ever get a speeding ticket or have an accident.

Then again, you did say the kid floored it through the bank parking lot, lol

^ It looks like a piece of EMT conduit we use to run our wiring in, sticking out of the back of that thing!
