Because you need a different exhaust manifold when you install a turbo?

If it were me and my money and if I wanted a turbo...inline pro is the way to go.

Me personally, I want the SOS Stage 2 w/ novi 1200. That's a badass setup good for 400whp+
Hoping to get the meth tuning done soon - hopefully will hit 400whp with less boost.

Turbo is the shiznit, maintaining a turbo setup is not. Wise choice going with the blower instead. Can be made nearly as fast or even faster than most turbo setups with waaaayyyy less problems. For a car thats gonna be driven a lot, I wouldn't even consider a turbo setup. I can't wait till you guys get these setups running. I need some boosted s2k's to run with.

They're both a handful if you don't build it right. I don't think one is less troublesome than the other. The only issue I usually grapple with is the heat from the turbine.

I agree both can be a hassle. I guess I see the supercharger as just a simpler setup. The boost is linear, and always the same. Its usually easier to tune. There are no heat issues. You don't have to rebuild your exhaust. You don't have to mess with boost controller's. And last but not least, there cheaper. Your gonna blow 8-10k to make a turbo run right. You can do a supercharger for half of that. Granted poorly installed and tuned the blower will be a money sucking disaster as well. I guess it really just boils down to what you want, and your affinity for tinkering with the car. After every run I have to check for oil leaks, coolant leaks, melted lines, etc. With a blower you basically just check the belt once and a while and ride on. I enjoy the tinkering and I have the tools and knowledge keep it going cheaply. For someone who doesn't have those things, and must pay for service, a turbo could be a very expensive, aggravating choice. Either way boost is awesome, its amazing how even an extra 100hp completely transforms the car. When yves and I went to the mountains the other day I barely even broke 6k all day. The car just pulls now, its like you dropped out the four cylinder and put in a large displacement v6. When you roll on the gas it just goes, there no need to wind it up to get power its just always there. I normally only run around on the wastegate at 8psi as this is more than enough power for everyday driving. When I want a thrill though its nice to be able to push a button and crank it to 18 for ass whooping mode. Hell, forget what I said. Turbo FTMFW

Umm my power is linear so is my boost and I'm on a ptuning set up with a gt3582r I'm working on a pic of my dyno. Oh btw I'm putting down 467 at redline just sayin. One more thing I beat on my car every day and not a single issue. Anti lag launches high revving 3rd gear drifts you name it. Oh and I Can drive it to and from Florida 600+ miles no worries unless my tranny wants to quit on me

A turbo isn't that much more expensive when you're talking about equal horsepower. I don't think comparing 350hp black box kits to 500hp turbo setups is a fair measurement. Any FI at those levels requires all of the supporting gear. And boost is very linear. That's a misconception I always hear thrown around. Cliffs: They're both six of one and half a dozen of the other.
