Thinking about going Turbo
To answer the OPs question, i am also running a stage 2 SOS - novi 1200 non-sl w/1000 IDs and racing heat exchanger with AEM v2. All that stuff was a hair under 6k in a recent gb. Install can be done by one person in a weekend. Mine took a month because of upgraded different parts and deciding to install meth at the same time, and an oil cooler, gauges, intake manifold, full exhaust, coils, etc...
Nowhere hear as fast as my other two turbos(e46 m3, r35 GTR) but a lot of fun around the track and the boost is linear and predictable unlike a turbo.
You're welcome to come for a ride if you are in raleigh

I'm so torn with the same decision to make. I don't have to drive my car everyday, so maybe turbo will fit the bill, but Idk if I want to have to mess with the turbo all the time as others have stated. Hmmmm. I'm torn between the trackforged kit and the sos.
new to the forum because i recently just bought my s2k but mine is boosted with the stage 2 inline pro race kit with fuel and engine management. and basically comments previously stated were spot on. the kit itself is insanely expensive, i recently just lost my fuse box due to the weld next to my b clamp giving out. so i'm getting that and my battery relocated. but other than the huge lag i am very very satisfied with my kit. i will get it dyno'd once everything is fixed up so ill post charts but here's a pic of it before everything went to hell
