Do you have any body mods causing aero drag?
If you're concerned that your down on power take it along with a stock s2k
to a dyno and find out.

With a 2.5 60ft a 15.0 is not a bad time. Your 60ft time affects your 1/4 mile time dramatically. i f you got that 60ft time down to a 1.9-1.8 (a good 60ft) you would be running in the 13's I bet.

The main thing with the compression test is that they are even across all of the cylinders. So if 3 or 220 and one is 200 that is an issue. There really isn't a number because the conditions can be way different.

How are you launching, and are you on street tires?

When I launch mine at a Pro Solo (Hoosier A6s), I rev the motor up to x RPM (where X depends on surface conditions) and sidestep the clutch. At Toledo in 2008, we were doing it at 7500rpm. Most events this is how I launch it, but it's especially important at Pro Solos. Best 60' time I've managed was a 1.9. I find launching the car very tricky.

the 4.77 gears are causing you do an extra shift compared to stock gearing. that's probably where you're losing time.

How fast are your shifts? I don't power shift, but I shift as fast as possible. You should be low 14's. 14.1x is about right for a decent run.
