Default Windsheild replacement question

Just wondering if any of you guys/gals have any experience with getting a windsheild replaced? I'm getting it done tomorrow or Friday, so I'm getting a little nervous. What do I need to look out for? I'm doing it through my insurance if that helps. Any responses would be great!!

Thanks, Greg

Its really not a big deal. Just make sure they replace your inspection sticker.

And check your car carefully afterward to make sure there are no new scratches along the hood/fenders/windshield frame. The guy that did mine did an excellent job.

Yep. USAA is my insurance company and they contract out glass work to safelite auto glass. They used a PPG windshield and the only minor problem was that the installer didn't have the correct 'button' to glue to the glass and mount the rearview mirror. He had to remove the old one and reuse it, which was about a 15 minute job.

I think I'd rather NOT have an OEM windshield replacement. Too many chips.
