Which part? Taxes? The issue of sales tax and online sales will definitely have to be addressed. It will be ugly. For now, no sales tax may be an advantage for online retailers but shipping costs can offset that advantage - especially now that online retailers have to make a profit

Back in the late 90's when internet sales were booming, I read an interesting statistic. At that time, internet sales represented somwhere around 1% (maybe less

) of all U.S. sales. That is pretty insignificant. It is no wonder the internet bubble burst. Even at 50-100% annual growth, it would take years for internet sales to be a significant part of the US economy.
