Regretably, no. I've got some rehearsals. . . including one where I'm trying to close on a college Sophomore. 20-year-olds dude. It's tough- I don't think I quite have an "in" yet. . . I've got a feeling though. . .

I think you're really asking, "Why do some trains operate with the engine in the rear?"

If that is in fact the case, the answer is easy: to save time turning around.

I don't believe it does. It still needs to exert the same power pushing as it does pulling.

Even it were to consume more fuel, trust me, if it's a diesel engine, the gains in operational efficiency far outweigh the losses in fuel.
