Unkie trunkie.....How come I"m addicted to India food when as a kid I did not like it?

 

Well, I'm looking at a few things here:

1. Your tastes do develop over time.

2. When it's a choice, you can appreciate it on your terms. When it's rammed down your throat, you may not appreciate quite as much.

3. Your wife cooks better than your mom?!?!?!

 

one and 2 are spot on. 3 is actually not correct. While my wife is an excellent cook, my mom's food is still #1.

 

What did I do to deserve this?

 

That's why I framed #3 in such way as to be speculative.

 

Nothing, which is what you deserve. As to why everyone, and everything (cosmically speaking) is shitting down your proverbial throat; it's due to your not doing anything.

Now, at this point, one could ask, "Well, hasn't he done something?" Well, yes he has, the problem is, he's doing something to make up for the fact that he deserves nothing. Pay no mind to initial causality.
