Unkie trunkie, should I invest in GOLD?
You should, of course, have some money in precious metals and other fairly steady commodities.
That said, there's a school of thought that dictates that if you're going to invest in commodities, you should invest in ones that have a real value. That is to say, a real use.
Gold doesn't have a lot of uses. Jewelry is one, but past that, there's only a few industrial uses for gold.
I'm to understand Platinum, Cobalt, Titanium, Molybedenum, and several others are all in much higher demand (and scarcity) than Gold.
I'm also to understand that there are precious metals funds. That might be a good place to start unless you're up for doing some serious speculation (and research).

what's your favorite movie?
My favorite film is either 2001: A Space Odyssey or Apocalypse Now. Man vs. Machine or Man vs. Man or Man vs. Himself; pretty classic themes there.
The movie I've seen the most is The Big Lebowski; and I do love it. I am an "Achiever."
2001 was revolutionary and influential but i dont know if it was entertaining for me to watch (today at least) I cant believe I still havent seen Apocolypse Now...Lebowski was good, Joel Coen? didnt he do Fargo and No Country for Old Men?? or was that his brother? or both of em
hmm... alright favorite actor/actress??
