I was amazed by how cheap q synth oil was at autozone, and was telling my friend about it. I went and looked at the receipt to find the discount info, and noticed that the guy had charged me for only 5 of the 6 quarts. I guess he missed one at the counter. Should I go back and pay for the 6th? Call the store? Just accept it as an error in my favor?

 

Accept it as an error in your favor. . . but perhaps give the difference to a bum or charity.

 

Something similar happened to me today. Lunch was $10.xx. I gave the waitress $20 and she gave me $14.xx in change. Obviously I had to make a decision right then. Opted to be honest, partly because they have great food at reasonable prices and I don't want them to go under.
