Alex, it looks like I am now going with a B18A. I've found them pretty cheap, so I think that's the motor I will use now.

I love your energy, man, by why are you putting energy into such a ridiculous project? Why not do some kind of cool restoration project or something. I mean, what are you gonna' do with a 200 horsepower golfcart?

If you read up top, I have been challenged, I can't back down from that! I think this would be a great way for me to really know how to put everything together...not just a motor. This is a small place to start, and just imagine when I go to the drag races and smoke some guy who thinks he's gonna win easily. It'll also look great next to my S2000 at car shows. I realize the idea sounds stupid(esp. if you hear everything I plan to do besides the motor), but it's a good project to keep me out of trouble and it shows what I can accomplish. It'll also be a display vehice for my retail car parts shop, and the wow factor definately holds value.
