Do not follow the Atkins no carb diet... its utterly stupid.. your body needs carbs. If you omit carbs you may feel depression and a few other side effects.

Chances are when the fall comes around, I'll have to do my walking in the evening, so maybe that'll give me some leeway.

Good for you!!!! When I quit I drank a lot of coffee and ate hard candy - not so healthy but better than smoking.
Now that you mention it, I should make a trip to the bulk food store and stock up on those sugar free candies.
