see I only had 2 hubcaps, so I took them off...the black wheels are actually an improvement.

One day we will fix it, for 400 bucks or so, and sell it for 1k, making 300 bucks or so. Not bad for what will be ~50hrs of labor

lol

Jim, red,

I'm flattered! Thanks so much, you guys. I just hate that I can't drive Neb through the weather.... Yeah, sure, I could, but I want it to last until I'm an old geezer!

red, I've noticed that the contrast is a little low in the pictures... I think my digiElph tones things down a little in the bright white. I do love the colors though!!

No im not in any hurry, Im actually hoping someone will wreck/slam into it. Thats why I park it 2 feet away from the curb (we live on a quazi blind corner)

PS: I really have no respect for myself, because if i did, I wouldnt be caught dead driving that car.

Hey, you know Skuz, you ought to be happy you have something to drive. At your age, it's better to be learning on a car you won't worry about too much. In a few years you'll have something to look forward to when you've honed your skills and have some pocket change to pay for insurance. (come to think of it, it'll take way more than pocket change!! )

I had loads of beaters before I ever had a decent car ...... it certainly makes you appreciate the decents ones more than people who are given a brand new car for their 17th birthday or whatever !!

I actually drove like a grandma when I first learned. I was worried enough about getting into an accident or getting a ticket that worrying about the car too would probably have been too much for me to handle.

Definitely it's true that you appreciate things more if you have to wait to get them (just like the S), but I suppose if I were a teen flush with cash (or parents with cash), the S would be a hard temptation to avoid.

I still think a new car (especially an S) is a very bad idea for newbies. It'll incite you to do stupid things before you're ready (not that you're ever really ready), and you'll worry about it. That's too much distraction for an unseasoned driver. Just my opinion, of course

Hey Chaz

I drive my car just like I drive my plane!

How's it feel being attacked by one of your own smilies?
