well you've seen my strategy... or somewhat before i get rushed all the freeking time....
i'll put all my workers on wood except for 2 that go to food..... and then i use my manor card... and then i start to build manors and they pop out a new worker after each one is built.... that way i save the food for the troops.... but by that time i get rushed.. ****ing computers.... always attacking me and not john..

.. always attacking me and not john..the key to taking advantage of the british manor thing is to also produce from your TC. so ideally you need to be producing workers from both wood and food.
it's more important early, because worker population/productivity is exponential - the more you train early, the better your economy is...
