Both our kids tested positive just after new years, both had mild symptoms, and no fever. They're both on the mend. I'd venture to guess it was omicron based on their symptoms/level of sickness.

I stayed home from work last week to isolate and no issues, none for my wife either. We made the kids wear masks anytime they left their rooms.

A few business are being forced to shut down due to lack of staffing, and I'm now seeing businesses voluntarily shutting down for two weeks to keep hopefully prevent worse.

Good to hear everyone is on the mend and safe Sam. That could be a very tough position for any family.

Happy to say our province has given a swift NO to taxing those who aren’t vaccinated. Taxes (in whatever form) don’t make conspiracy theorists change their minds. Obviously not every unvaccinated person is an “anti-vaxxer” and again I’m not sure financial penalties would change their opinions either.

Ugh. My sister (and niece) in Houston have it and they've given it to my mother. My wife got on a plane this morning to fly down and help my dad out with my mother. My dad is still fine but my mother is sick. Parents have all their shots and boosters, sister was vaxxed too, niece is not as she's under 5.

SHOOT! Will keep them in my thoughts Sam for your Mom to recover easily and Dad to stay safe!

My next door neighbors Daughter & family had not gotten vaccinated, now I learn they all have Covid
